Well Christmas is finally over and now it's onto New Year's Eve :D! Well before I start talking about what I'll be doing on New Year's Eve, I'm going to tell you how my Christmas went this year.

I don't know how it is in America, but here in Holland we celebrate Christmas on two days (25th and the 26th). So basically it's two days of eating, eating and well.....what a surprise...more eating :D! No I'm just kidding....euhmm...actually I'm not hehehe! Yeah on the first Christmas day we didn't have such an elaborate Christmas dinner as the dinner we had yesterday. On the first day I just had a small Christmas dinner with my family. So that was nice as well.
And yesterday we invited some good friends of our family to come and join us for Christmas dinner. And what a dinner that was! I don't think I've ever eaten as much as yesterday...seriously!! We started at 6 p.m. and me and my brother were the last people who finished around 08.30 p.m.! That's like 2,5 hours of non-stop eating :S! The rest of my family and our guests already stopped eating at 07.30 p.m., yeah that was no fun...cause there was still so much food on the table. Anyways me and my brother had a little competition going on who could eat the most and who could continue the longest of the both of us. The end time for our little competition was 10 o'clock. But when we saw the time and it was only 08.30 p.m., both of us felt so bloated from all the food...we just called it a draw! If we had continued this lil' competition, I think we both would've exploded hahaha :D. Afterwards me and my brother had to lie down on the couch and rest before we could eat dessert. That's how full we were! Ohh well it was fun and we actually do this every year just for the fun of it, but he's always the one who ends up winning. So this time I just couldn't let him win again...yeahh I'm competitive like that ;)!

So after dinner we ate dessert (chocolate and strawberry icecream...yummy :p!!). When we finished eating our dessert, we decided to play some poker with our guests. My mom bought my brother a poker briefcase for Christmas. And even before Christmas we were already teaching my mom how to play the game. I don't think she fully understands the game yet, but at least she's trying :). I unfortunately lost pretty quickly, cause I got dealt shitty cards pretty much every time. Ohh well...nothing I can do about it now! And we were just playing for fun, so it's all good.

Anyway the end of the year is almost in sight. What's everyone doing on New Year's Eve? I'm curious! My aunt and uncle and my little cousins are coming to our house on New Year's Eve. So that's going to be fun. But I won't be staying that long, cause at the end of the night I'm heading to a club with some friends to celebrate the transition of the year at midnight. Basically that day consists of eating, drinking and partying :D!! I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!

Ohh right, I almost forgot to mention that I also received my Xmas card from KC & Elka today...woohoo :D! Yeah I know it's not Xmas anymore, but who cares...a late card is better than no card at all right?? I was happy to see that my card made it to Albuquerque. Yeah I have never sent international mail before, so I was like...."I hope this card arrives in Albuquerque on time"...and it did :)! So their Xmas card was like a post Christmas present, it totally made my day :D!

Okkk then...I think I've rambled enough for now! If I don't blog before the end of the year, I wish you all a Happy New Year and may you all drink a LOT of champagne during the transition of the year and get totally wasted :D! Talk to you all in 2007 ;)!!

So it's x-mas today and I'm excited, cause I love x-mas! Some people are not really into x-mas, but I like it! I just love the whole atmosphere, you know eating with friends and family, unwrapping presents etc.! Yeah I'll probably be eating tons of food again during x-mas, luckily for me...I don't really gain weight that fast! And yes, I can make a lot of people jealous just because I can eat everything I want without gaining weight :p!
Today me and my family are not planning a big dinner or something, cause that's going to happen tomorrow on the second day of Christmas. We've invited some good friends of our family to come and join us for x-mas dinner. So that's going to be a lot of fun.

I also have two weeks vacation...woohoo!! Yes I'm very excited about that. This doesn't mean I don't have to do anything for school, cause I still have to study for exams that are coming after the vacation.
Last friday I didn't have to go to school, but our class decided to celebrate the fact we have christmas vacation now. So we decided to go to a bar on friday afternoon and get wasted! I did some drinking that day as well, but I wasn't drunk, unlike other classmates of mine :S! There were so many people at the bar when we arrived there, but the atmosphere was great! We went with a group of approximately 20 guys and 1 girl (yeah I was the only girl of our class who went last friday)...I was practically a walking target for the guys seriously! Some guys in my class even tried to hook me up with other guys from my class and I got hit on twice that day by random guys who were also in the bar. But nothing happend and it was all innocent stuff. I just had to laugh about it, cause I'm not interested in dating any of the guys from my class seriously!

So last Saturday I finally received the dvd of "Loving Annabelle". I must have seen practically every trailer and every video on their MySpace site. I've been dying to see this movie ever since I first heard about it last year. I've seen it twice now, the movie is really good! The more you see it, the better it gets I think. So if you haven't seen "Loving Annabelle", definitely get the dvd! It's about a Catholic school teacher who falls in love with a student. And I think most people can relate to the story...cause who didn't have or still has a hot teacher at their school. I certainly had and I still have actually hehe :D! Too bad I don't have classes anymore from her...damn :(! If you saw this woman...omg...she would totally be your favorite teacher as well! Almost every guy at my school thinks she's hot and she totally is! And you know what, she's only four years older than me! Too bad she's a teacher though :(!! Yeahh no fun in that!!

So yesterday I finally saw my friend from high school after approximately 5 years. I was so excited to see her again and I had a really awesome time with her and it didn't even feel as if it's been five years already since the last time we saw eachother, cause it felt so familiar! We had soooo much stuff to talk about...there wasn't even enough time to catch up on all the things that's been going on in our lives for the last 5 years. We went to a nice Greek restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious and we talked and talked, it was great. And it was like this tiny little Greek restaurant and the whole atmosphere there was just awesome.

We already decided to go see a movie after dinner, so we went to see the movie: The Holiday. It's like this christmas feel good movie with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black. The movie was kinda long (2 hours and 18 minutes!) and predictable as usual, but it was still a pretty decent movie. After the movie ended we went to a bar to have a drink and after we left the bar I realized that I had already missed the last train, so she actually had to drive me back home again. But she didn't mind doing that.
The whole evening we were just laughing, joking around and talking about things that happend in high school etc.! So we had fun and we're definitely doing this again, no doubt about that.
Next weekend I'm actually going out again with two other friends from high school...we just wanted to meet up with eachother again and go out together. So I'm looking forward to that!

Anyway yesterday I received a christmas card from this guy that I know from my previous school. I actually wasn't expecting a x-mas card from him. I should tell you a story about this guy. Back when we were in school together this guy had a pretty big crush on me. Well he didn't really exactly told me this directly, but his friends told me that and sometimes it was pretty obvious that he had a crush on me. This one time he asked me out and I actually wanted to turn him down, but I didn't have the guts to do it...I know it's pathetic. It was actually the 2nd time he was trying to ask me out, cause the first time I kinda made up an excuse that I was busy or something and I told him that I had other stuff to do, cause I wasn't interested in him. But the 2nd time he called me up and I just felt sorry for the guy, so I ended up agreeing on going out with him to a bar. After I hung up the phone, I already regretted that I agreed to go out with him! He actually told all of his friends and some of my friends that he had a "date" with me...and I felt so embarrassed. And I gotta tell you...I've never in my life felt so uncomfortable with someone as the time I went with him to that bar! Omg it was terrible and I should've known better than agreeing to go out with this guy. Cause the conversations we had were just awkward and weird. The whole time I was there, I was thinking about when is this whole thing going to end. I just wanted to go home, cause this was by far the worst "date" I ever had!

After that we still talked on a regular basis on msn (he was usually the one approaching me on msn btw) and once in a while we would see eachother at some parties from mutual friends of ours. But I could sense he wanted to get close again with me, cause he was like sending me text messages all the time and I was like: "omg...I need to tell this guy I'm not interested in him!". But up to now I haven't told him that and I've been trying to avoid him the last couple of months. But two weeks ago he was sending me text messages again and this whole thing is just starting all over again. I don't know what to do...ohh I do know what to do...I have to tell this guy I'm totally NOT interested in him. But it's easier said than done, cause I just can't for some weird reason! Geez I could really use some advice right now on how to deal with this situation. This guy is pretty sensitive and I know he's going to be disappointed when I tell him this. So I've been dreading this moment for a long long time now! But it's getting to a point that I don't really have a choice. Hmm I'll give it some thought and we'll see what happens I guess.

Tomorrow I'm meeting an old friend of mine. I know her since high school. After high school we lost contact, but a few years later I saw her profile on a dutch site similar to a site like MySpace. So I contacted her through that and we've been talking to eachother for the last few weeks now. I'm really excited to see her again, cause it's been so long since we've seen eachother. I think I haven't seen her for like four or five years now. So we've got a lot of catching up to do. But we've been e-mailing eachother for the last few weeks, so we've been catching up on eachother's life through e-mail. But there's still plenty of stuff to talk about tomorrow when we see eachother again. So I can't wait :D!

I've actually been talking/e-mailing with a lot of old friends from high school the last few weeks. And all of this happened through that dutch site that's similar to MySpace. It's amazing that you get to talk to your old friends again. In high school I had a really close group of friends. But after high school we lost contact somehow and through this particular site we've managed to get in contact with eachother again.

However other people can also see who my friend is on my profile page. I've got a lot of friends on my page, but there are two friends that know eachother, but somehow they got into an argument two years ago and never spoke to one another since then. I'm still friends with both of them. But today I received a christmas card from one of them and she wrote that she saw me on the profile page of the girl she had an argument with two years ago. She asked me if I've been talking to her again. It kinda sounded like she was questioning me why I'm talking to this girl. Cause the other girl only contacted me a few weeks ago, therefore she didn't know I was "friends" again with this girl. I think she doesn't like the idea that I'm friends with her again.
You know...I'm someone who is friends with everyone. I don't pick sides. If someone is nice to me, I'm nice to them as well. If someone is not nice to me, I'm not nice to them too. It's that simple. And I don't have any problems with the other girl, so I don't see the problem here. But I kinda feel like I'm stuck in the middle again. What's up with that you know?? I hate picking sides! But she always makes me feel this way and forces me to pick sides again. I'm just going to tell her that it's my life and I get to decide who I'm friends with and not her. Don't get me wrong here, she's an awesome friend. She's always been there for me, but I don't really like it when she acts like this. Oh well, that's who she is and the only thing I can do is talk to her about it. But I'm sure it's going to work out fine. I just need to talk to her about this.

Hello there! Geez it's been a week already since my last post...so it's definitely time for a new post don't ya think? Well I've been busy with school ofcourse. But the last two weeks I've been doing something else at school other than working on a project or making homework. And that is...playing poker! Hahaha yeah...you're probably wondering what school has to do with poker, well absolutely nothing :D! But I'm in a class with lots of guys and one of the guys had a poker game that you could play on the pc.

Now if you'd asked me two weeks ago if I could play poker...I would say no...cause I was a total n00b at poker two weeks ago. Now two weeks later...I'm totally addicted to playing poker! I kind of learned it on my own and with the help of the guys in my class and it's totally fun playing against eachother at school. We've managed to get our whole class playing this poker pc game now. So we're thinking about doing a tournament against eachother and I think it's a great idea! I love beating the guys at poker hehe...especially because I'm a girl :). And they really don't like losing from a girl! Boys are such bad losers don't ya think??
Anyway I think someone is even planning to bring a deck of cards and poker chips to school this upcoming week. So we can finally play for real instead of playing it on our laptops. So I'm really excited! It's the only excitement I'm currently excited about at school...cause all the other stuff that's going on at school is just plain boring!

So nothing much really happend last week. Just been busy with school and listening to some music to help me get my mind off of school. For example I've been listening like non-stop to the new Incubus album "Light Grenades". I love their new album and I've played the cd over and over I don't how many times already! If you haven't already purchased the album, you totally should...it's so worth it!! I just finished watching a couple of clips of Incubus performing some of their new songs. I will post a couple of those clips in today's post. The rest of the Incubus clips you can watch on the site of Yahoo music (http://music.yahoo.com/promo-31904706), cause they did an awesome live set in which they perform four songs of their new album and a couple songs from their previous albums. They also have two fan Q&A clips in which the band answers questions from the audience. You can even hear Brandon singing a little part of a lionel richie song...it was really fun to watch. So here I am...waiting at school...3 hours before class starts and I have absolutely nothing to do! I had to come to school early, cause I had a talk with one of my teachers about something. But that talk only lasted about 15 minutes, so I was done pretty quickly and now I have to wait 3 hours before my class starts! I'm kinda bored out of my mind right now...since I have nothing else to do, I decided to blog a little. Yeah thankfully I have my laptop with me, so I can surf the internet a little, listen to some music...but it gets boring after a while.

Anyway I wanna talk about the elections we had last thursday. I ofcourse voted that day...I did my duty for the next four years. But one of my classmates didn't vote last thursday. I was seriously giving him a preach about not voting that day. I just couldn't understand that someone would be so stupid not to vote! His reason for not voting is because he thought that the people who represented the parties are just a bunch of liars. That was his reason for not voting...ughh...I have no words for that. Almost every party promises great things, but these parties still get to be in the parliament for the next four years. So why not vote and make a difference, even if it is one vote. That doesn't mean it's less important. Anyway...he basically doesn't have the right to complain about anything for the next four years, because he didn't vote.
And you don't even have to do much when you go out and vote. You just have to press one simple button or use a red pencil and choose which party to vote for. No big deal right?? I guess for some people that's just too difficult.

The results of the dutch elections were as following: the Christian Democrat Party (CDA) got the most votes, so we basically keep our current conservative prime minister. He looks like a grown-up version of Harry Potter. Seriously I'm not kidding...don't believe me?? Look up a picture of him on Google...his name is Jan Peter Balkenende. Second largest party was the labor party (PvdA). And surprisingly the third largest party and the party who won the most votes from the voters was the Socialist Party (SP) who won 25 seats, a big leap from its previous 9 seats, which makes it the third-largest party.
There was one really surprising party that actually got 2 seats in the parliament and that party was the Party for the Animals (PvdD). That's right people...we people in Holland apparently love our animals so much, that we now have a party that comes up for the rights of animals in the parliament! This makes the Netherlands the first country in the world in which a party for animal welfare is elected. How weird is that right??? I don't even know what I think about that. Ofcourse I think animal welfare is important, but to have an actual party in the dutch parliament is pushing it I think.

Ok enough about the elections. Hmm I guess when I'm bored I get a bit too political I guess hehe. Still 2,5 hour to go before class starts. I hate waiting...and I have to wait 3 hours for a one hour class! Unfortunately it's a pretty important class, so I can't really miss it. Well I think this blog is long enough for now. Now I'm off to play some online games to kill the time a little ;D! C-Ya!

So it's been 1,5 week since my last post. I've been super busy with school again (yeahhh big surprise right ;)??) . Well first I have some good news to tell and some bad news to tell about the exams that I took. The good news is that I passed the important exam :D!! Woohoo!! I was super happy that I passed the exam. Omg I was so happy when the teacher told me I passed it! This exam was bothering me the whole year and now I don't have to think about it anymore :D!

The bad news is...is that the same day I had gotten the results back of the project I had to make together with a bunch of classmates. We were told that what we did wasn't good enough. So our teacher gave us a failing grade! And it wasn't even justified! Cause certain things happened during this project between our group and our teacher, which resulted in a failing grade. The teacher wasn't even willing to help us during the making of this project. Which is absurd, cause that's the reason why this guy is getting paid! Just thinking about the whole thing makes me angry again, cause this grade wasn't even justified. So we wrote a letter to the exam commission to appeal against the outcome of this project. We also wrote a complaint letter to our dean to complain about this certain teacher. He's basically a total asshole for failing us! So I hope we still get a second chance from the exam commission. Hopefully they'll let us do some rework and work on our project for another week or so, to make it all perfect.

Tomorrow the exam commission is having a meeting, so I'll be hearing the outcome of their decision real soon. I really hope they give us a second chance, cause we spend so much time and effort into this project, I definitely DON'T want to start from scratch again next year! That would totally suck! Let's just hope for the best!

The outcome of this project basically ruined my good mood on that particular day. Cause on the same day, I was told I passed the exam, but failed the project! It's like going one step forward and then ten steps back! It's totally ridiculous and I'm really getting tired of it. It's hard to stay positive everytime you get a setback like this.

Anyway enough about school. Tomorrow it's election day in The Netherlands. I'm definitely going to vote tomorrow. No doubt about that! I basically think that people who don't vote, don't have the right to complain for the next four years! In some countries people don't even get a chance to vote, so I think it's a shame that certain people don't vote, just because they don't know who to vote for. I'm really curious what the outcome will be. Normally I'm not really that interested in politics, but this election is pretty important. So I'll definitely be following the election results tomorrow.

So I finally have time to blog again after almost two weeks! As you might now, I had to study for exam week and that's why I couldn't blog as much as I wanted to. Exam week is finally over and I pretty much passed all of the exams that I took last week. So I'm really happy about that. I'm still waiting for the result of that one particular exam I talked about in one of my previous blog entries. I'm anxiously awaiting the result of that exam. My whole study is practically depending on this exam. I think the results of that exam will be announced on Monday. But I think I did pretty good, so I'm hoping to hear some good news upcoming Monday! But I don't want to jinx myself, so I'm just going to wait it out and I'll be hearing the outcome on Monday!

The last two weeks were really stressful for me. I had to do so much in so little time. I still can't believe I pulled it off! Anyway I have some time to relax now.
I slept in today, cause I was really tired after waking up every day so frickin' early just to study or go to school. That made me feel a lot better after having slept a decent amount of hours.
And I decided to clean my room, cause it was a total mess in my room. Books, magazines, clothing etc...it was everywhere in my room except where it should be...like in my closet or on the bookshelf for example! I was busy for like 5 hours to clean my room up...geez...I had no idea that a small room such as mine, could have so much stuff in it! I'm pretty sure that in a couple of days it will be a total mess again haha...yeahhh we'll see how it goes. I'll try to keep it clean as long as possible. But I always say that...usually it doesn't really work for me :S. After a couple of days my stuff will be piling up again. Hmm I really need to work on this!

Anyway...I don't really know what I'm going to do tonight. I know it's a Saturday, but I think I'm going to stay in and watch some movies or something. Cause yesterday I catched a cold and I'm still not feeling all that well. Maybe next week I'll go out again. Oh man it's been like three weeks already since I went to a club or something. You see...school is totally ruining my social life! Must do something about that! Well I'm off to enjoy my weekend...I hope you'll do the same! Talk to you later!

First I apologize for the lack of blogging. I've been sooo busy with school, I hardly have the time to blog anymore. Hopefully this will change in about two weeks from now, when all of this will be over! Today I had a tough exam. The exam totally sucked! I had spend the whole weekend cramming for this exam...but no luck...I think I have to retake the exam again :(.
Tomorrow I have another exam...ughh...totally have to be studying at the moment, but still I'm sitting behind my laptop right now...blogging! Yes this is a typical sign of me procrastinating again :)!

Ever had that feeling of studying so much, that you feel as if your head is about to explode because of the amount of information that you're trying to remember?? Cause I feel like that right now! And I still have to put more information into my brain for like three more exams! My brain is like saying "enough is enough...no more information can be absorbed anymore!". Ohh well...we'll see how it goes.

Today when I was sitting in the train, there was a Shane (yeahh...from the L Word) look-a-like sitting across me. Well except for the face, she pretty much looked like Shane! She had the same hair, same kind of clothing and she was wearing black Converse shoes. Need I say more?? Total Shane look-a-like I'm telling ya!

Well I just wanted to put a new blog up, since I haven't updated my blog over a week now. I'll try to blog when I have more time to spare, but until then...enjoy this video of the Scissor Sisters. Ahh yes, it's the weekend again! Decided to stay home tonight, even though it's a Saturday and I really want to go out! But I can't, since I have to study for exams that are coming up in about a week from now. It sucks, cause basically I have no time to do anything else except studying and working on a project I was assigned to do for school.
I'm going to be sooo glad when all of this over, cause I hate exam week. It seems all of my friends are enduring the same stress and being all occupied with studying.

There's this one exam...I've been preparing for it for a long time now, cause this exam is the toughest of the four exams I have to take. I already took this exam last year, but unfortunately I failed that exam. So this year I get two more chances to pass this exam, otherwise I can't continue the study and I will be forced to quit the study. So basically, this exam is my top priority at the moment. It's giving me a lot of headache, cause I'm worried that I won't pass it. There hasn't been a day since the last month or so, I haven't thought about this exam and thinking about if I'm going to pass it or not. And I'm even thinking about what to do if I don't make it! It's totally absurd and I don't actually want to think about that. Just thinking about that makes me depressed! So I have to keep thinking about positive things to keep me motivated, but it's so hard! I can easily say that this exam is the toughest exam I ever had in my life! So if I do pass this exam...oh my god...I would be sooo frickin' happy!! I would party all night long just to celebrate the fact I passed it! But we'll see how it goes, I've got two weeks left to prepare for this exam, so wish me luck!

Geez, this whole studying thing just blows!! No fun for me for the next two weeks :(. And yes, that also means not going out in the weekends. Can't wait for exam week to end and it hasn't even started yet! Ok enough about school...and on to an awesome video I came across. It's a video of an orchestra performing Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". It's totally awesome and I watched it several times already! So I hope you like it!

So this morning I had to go to school again and usually it's not really a big problem or whatever. I always take the train to school. But the one thing I can't stand about going to school with the train...is that the train is always effin' delayed!! Omg...I hate it sooo much! Today I had to wait 45 minutes again for the train to come, cause the previous one wasn't riding or something. And this delay almost happens every day I go to school. Pfff...I don't understand why we have to pay so much for a train ticket, if the trains aren't even on time...geez!

Especially today, cause this morning it was really cold outside and I was freezing my butt off at the train station. Yeahh I was stubborn enough to think that it was going to be a sunny day and that it was going to be warm enough to wear like a thin summer jacket...boyyy was I wrong! My hands were like frozen when I got in the train and I was trying to text message one of my classmates to tell him that I was going to be late for class. But I could hardly typ, cause my hands were so cold. And it's not even extremely cold today, but I think it's the transition from the warm weather to the cold weather that I had to adjust to. Ohh well I survived it again.

I was extremely tired today, cause I had a crazy weekend. Saturday I went out and came home on Sunday around 6.00 a.m.. Wow what a night that was! Had a really awesome time clubbing with my friends. When I came back, I went straight to bed, slept until it was afternoon. And no hangover thank god! But I was still feeling tired today at school...cause I was yawning every 5 minutes or so hahaha. Yeah...that's how interesting my classes were today :D! Other than that...I had a perfect day ;)!

Yet another week has flown by. Hope everyone survived Friday the 13th without anything bad happening! Not that I'm superstitious or whatsoever. Yesterday was like horror movie marathon on tv, since it was Friday the 13th. I watched a few classics and luckily no nightmares from watching those horror movies :). Normally I'm not really a big fan of horror movies, but I thought it would be fun to watch some of the movies that were on tv yesterday. So that was an interesting night!
Anyway...I've been pretty busy with school and trying to study for exams. Which is not really going all that well, cause I'm such a procrastinator! Can't seem to get anything done this last week. And time is of the essence, since I have four exams coming up :S. So I beter get started with it!

This is going to be a short blog, cause it's Saturday and I'm about to go out and have some fun tonight :D! Ok so I needed something to cheer me up after a loooong day at school and I found this video on YouTube. And it's sooo adorable and cute...I watched it about 3 or 4 times in a row. And each time I said like "awwww they're so cute!". The animals are so cute in this video, so I decided to post it here on my blog. And this video definitely puts a smile on my face after I saw it :).

Ugh...I've been sick since yesterday. This really sucks, cause I've got tons of homework waiting for me to do. I catched a cold yesterday and I think I got it from someone at school. I've been sneezing the whole time since yesterday. I don't how many tissues boxes I have used and I'm actually surprised I still have a nose left from all the sneezing :S! I've been taking some cold medicine, but that doesn't seem to work very well. Ohh well...I'm just going to take it easy today and hope that I will feel better tomorrow...

This week flew by so fast! And what a week it has been. In about three weeks from now, I have to take 4 exams. And I reaaaaaally need to start cramming for those exams. But I'm such a procrastinator, it's unbelievable! I just can't seem to put my mind to it and just start with it. Last wednesday I had to do a presentation along with someone else in front of the whole class. And I really don't like doing presentations in front of a large crowd. I tend to get a bit nervous when I have to do presentations. So the entire presentation I was like "relax and just pretend that there's only one person in the crowd or something". Arghh, that didn't really work well. And I don't know why people keep saying "just pretend everyone is naked"....yeahhh right...as if that's going to work! And some people I really do NOT want to imagine without any clothes on!! If there were only hot people in the class...yeahh than I might do it, otherwise NO! The presentation went well and I'm glad that it's over now :).

So this past week I also came across the guy I was talking about in one of my previous posts (september 26). I think I bumped into him like four times this week. And three out of four times it was at the train station. At the beginning of the week, coincidentally he took the same train as me. And he saw me in the train, so he sat across me and we chatted about how our weekend was and what we did etc. And when we arrived at our destination, we walked to school together. I finally had the chance to ask him some other stuff other than school related things.
I came to find out his music interests, his age (which is the same age as me :)), what he likes to do in the weekends and all sorts of other things. Pretty interesting conversation we had in the train and during our walk to school. After that, I bumped into him like three times again in the same week. Yesterday we took the same train back and we had a nice lil' chat again in the train. Ohh right, I almost forgot to describe the guy! Unfortunately I can't think of someone he looks like (like a celebrity, cause than I would be able to post a pic to show how he kinda looks like)...but he's almost 6'0 feet tall, blue eyes and he's got short blond hair. Well that's about it, I'll probably bump into him again next week. But we'll see how that goes ;).

Anyway it's weekend. Tomorrow I'll definitely sleep in, cause this whole week has been crazy busy, so I'm in need for some proper sleep! And I've been going to bed way to late as usually. So yesterday I finally got to watch the season premiere of South of Nowhere. Yeah I know it already aired last friday in America, but unfortunately we don't have South of Nowhere in Holland. That's why I had to wait for someone to put it online for me to download it. And that's exactly what I did yesterday. And I thought it was a really good premiere. It was so good to see Ashley and Spencer together now! Especially because last year it took them a whole season for them to finally hook up with each other in the season finale. But I'm curious how long they'll actually stay together. Cause I'm sure there will be drama coming up...! If you haven't seen this show before...omg...you need to download it now...like A.S.A.P.! It's a really good show, so I won't put any spoilers here on my blog. But really, if you haven't seen South of Nowhere before, you need to go download it now!

Yesterday I also watched the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep. And I absolutely loved that movie! It has been suggested that the movie was based on Anna Wintour (the Editor-in-Chief of the U.S. edition of "Vogue"). Meryl Streep plays Miranda Priestly, the Editor-in-Chief of "Runway" magazine. And Anne Hathaway plays Andy Sachs and she's the new assistent of Miranda. You might now Anne Hathaway from "The Princess Diaries" and "Brokeback Mountain". But I didn't really like her in "Brokeback Mountain". But she's really good in this movie! And Meryl Streep is one of my favorite actresses. She is sooo good in this movie! Emily Blunt who plays Miranda's 1st assistent and Stanley Tucci who plays Nigel are both amazing in this movie. There are so many awesome actors and actresses in this movie, you just have to see it for yourself!

Alrighty then, it's the weekend again and I'm lovin' it! I didn't have to go to school yesterday, so I went shopping. And as usual, I've spend way too much money on clothing again. Oh what the hell, I needed some new stuff anyway. So that was fun, kinda exhausted after a whole day of shopping...but at least I didn't come home empty-handed. Cause I hate when I go shopping with the intention of buying new things...and then end up buying nothing at all, cause I couldn't find anything. I hate when that happens. Usually when that happens...I end up buying something I don't really like. Kinda like I forced myself to buy it, cause I hate it when I go home empty-handed. But I don't do that anymore. I've learned from those experiences ;).

Yesterday I wanted to buy the new cd of Veruca Salt, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So I had to order the cd online. If you haven't heard their new cd "IV"...go get it now, cause it's frickin' awesome! I've been listening to some of their new songs online and their new cd rocks.


And it's been six years since they released their last full-length album. You might know them from their 1994 hit "Seether" or the song "Volcano Girls" from 1997. They did an amazing job with their latest cd that was released on September 12 and you should definitely check their new cd out if you haven't already!

So yesterday wasn't really a good day for me. I felt a bit edgy and I guess the reason behind that was the lack of sleep that night. But today was alright. It started out kinda bad, cause it was raining like crazy this morning in Holland...so I arrived soaking wet at my school. And if there's one thing that I hate, it's arriving soaking wet at school! Cause it just messes everything up...especially my hair!! I hate it when my hair gets all wet from the rain, cause my hair gets all entangled and all. And that's exactly what happend today.

And I was actually walking to school with this guy who's my tutor of one of the classes that I follow. He has to tutor a group of six people and I'm in this group as well. He's kinda like a personal coach for my group. He's a really nice guy and he always takes the same train as I do. So I bumped into him today at the train station and we walked to school together. I think he's the same age as I am, only he's a junior and I'm a sophomore. We get along really well and he's pretty cute I must say ;)! Haven't gotten the opportunity to actually ask him some personal questions, but I definitely will the next time hehe ;)! We only talked about school related things today on our way to school. We were both soaking wet when we arrived at school. Hmm...not really a good way to impress a guy when I look soaking wet with my hair all messed up. But it's still kinda cool to have a tutor that's around the same age, cause we have a lot things in common together. He follows the same study and every time I speak to him, I feel really comfortable discussing certain things with him. So I'm interested in getting to know him better. Hopefully I'll bump into him again when I go to school this week!

Woohoo it's the weekend again! You would think in the weekend you could relax a little...well not really, cause I still have lots of boring homework to make unfortunately :(. Yeah it's pathetic, even in the weekend I'm still occupied with doing stuff for school. I'm swamped with homework currently, so that kinda sucks.
Anyway not much has been going on in the last few days. Just going to school and nothing interesting has happend there either. But luckily I'm going to a club tonight with some friends of mine, so at least I won't have to think about school for the rest of the evening/night. So that's always a good thing!
Since it's a Saturday, I had to put another dance video on my blog...just because it's the weekend and everyone should go to a club or a bar and party ;)! This time I chose the song "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" by Fedde Le Grand. Awesome dance song and the beat of the song just sticks in your head once you've listened to it! I apologize for the quality of the video, I found it on YouTube and couldn't find any video's of this song with better quality. So I hope you like it...now go out and have some fun tonight!

So today I had a meeting at school and I didn't really had that much to do in that meeting, so I opened my iTunes and put one of my earbuds in my ear and listened to some music. Our whole campus has wireless internet, so we usually work on our own laptops at school. Anyway I don't how long I was listening to the music using iTunes. But when I went to see what song was next on the playlist, I suddenly noticed something on the left side in the iTunes window. And whadda ya know...I suddenly saw a complete different library and I realised I was looking at someone else's iTunes library! And then it dawned on me that if I could see someone else's iTunes library, then that person would also be able to see my iTunes library! I was like "OMG....I gotta close iTunes"! Cause I have some stuff in my library, that I really don't want to share with tha whole world ya know!

Cause it seems that iTunes can search for other libraries who are also in the same network as you are. And I was using the wireless connection from school and so many other people are also using this connection. So I had no clue who had their iTunes open as well and if they saw any of the stuff that was in my library :S!
Geez I hate it when programs have certain options enabled without you knowing it! I never saw this before, I knew the option of sharing libraries with other people existed and that it was possible with iTunes. But still...I think they should disable this option and when you do decide that you want to share your iTunes library with other people, you could always enable this option yourself later on.


I don't think it's a bad feature in iTunes. I just think that they should let people enable this option themselves. Cause I find it weird that people that I don't even know, can snoop around in my iTunes library without me knowing it! It's not that I have "incriminating" things in my library, well except the fact that I have certain podcasts in my library that have some interesting titles. But I don't "rename" the names of certain podcasts, cause I'm just too lazy to do it! And I don't think it's necessary, cause I'm usually the only one who sits behind my laptop and who uses iTunes.

Anyway...I've disabled the option now to share my iTunes library with others. But hadn't I seen that I was looking into someone else's iTunes library today, I wouldn't even know that I had this option enabled! So luckily it all ended well :). Ok that was my iTunes rant for today hahaha...sorry if I bored ya! I just had to get that out of my system and other then what happened today, I still think iTunes is an awesome program ;)!

As you can see...I've got a new layout for my blog. I hope you like it as much as I do! I chose this layout, because I like the picture very much. I love watching the night sky once in a while. Looking at the night sky tends to take my mind off of things. I'm someone who thinks about so many things at the same time, that sometimes I just need to relax and let it all go. And for me, just a simple thing as looking at the night sky takes my mind off of things. And that's why I chose this layout! I also like that the color blue is in this new layout, cause it's my favorite color :).

Anyway yesterday me and my family had a really nice dinner in Amsterdam to celebrate my dad's birthday. And omg I ate so much...seriously, you could practically roll me back home! But the dinner sure was delicious! So it was definitely worth it.
It was good to be in Amsterdam again. But I don't think I'll ever be able to live in such a busy city. Especially because I've lived my whole life in a small town and I guess I'm just used to the life here. But hey...never say never, cause I might end up in a big city later ;)!

Geez the weekend sure has flown by! And I didn't really do that much this weekend. I only went to see some friends and I went to Amsterdam yesterday. And that's it! Why is the weekend always so short?? I actually hate sundays...cause everything is closed in my town and there's not much to do around here. Anyway I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow, so I hope it goes by fast! Talk to y'all later ;)!

Yesterday I saw that Apple has released the 2nd generation of the Ipod Nano. And I'm liking the new look! Cause the 1st generation was only available in black and white. I don't own the classic iPod with 60GB for example, cause I think the size of the original iPod it's too big to fit in my pocket. I only own a black iPod Nano with 4GB. At first when I bought it, I thought the 4GB would be enough. But nowadays when I have to put music AND podcasts on it, I hardly have enough space anymore...well none actually! I saw that the new iPod Nano comes in different colors and they have an iPod Nano that can store up to 8GB now. That would be perfect for me, since 4GB is hardly enough for me nowadays!

I'm really itching to get my hands on one of those new Nano's! Cause they look really nice! But I can't, cause I've been spending way too much money lately. Recently I bought a new mobile phone and all the shopping and going out every week doesn't help either. So I'm trying to save some money. But I love new gadgets! Whenever I see a new gadget that I like, I just want to buy it! Normally I'm not a big fan of Apple. But I do love their iPods :)!

Ok so last friday I was sitting in my room and everything was just fine. But it was gettin' late, so I decided to go to bed. But first I had to go to the bathroom and when I came out of the bathroom I wanted to shut off the light. But right when I was going to push the light switch to shut the lights off, I saw this huge frickin' spider next to the light switch. Omg I was freaking out seriously! I have been scared of spiders and almost every other insect/bug that exists since I was little. Even the tiniest bug or insect can scare the shit outta of me. Gross...I just dislike them! And this frickin' spider was already moving and all...and I was scared shitless that the spider would come into my room. Cause my room is right next to the bathroom. So I had to wake up my mom to catch the damn thing, cause it was already midnight. And luckily she catched it! Geez it seems that I'm always the one who notices the spiders! Cause when my mom sees a spider, she's like "ahh whatever, just let it walk...it will go away eventually". But when I see one, I will not rest until the spider is catched! Otherwise I can't sleep. So yeahhh I hate spiders and all the other creepy crawlers out there...they're gross and I hate them.

But today I saw this video on YouTube about a weather guy who sees a cockroach on the floor and he screams like a lil' girl when he sees it. Omg it's so funny! And it reminded me of what happend last friday with the whole spider thing. And seriously...I would probably react the same way if I would see a frickin' cockroach! Yeahhh I'm such a girl I know!! Omg I've only been in school for like three days and I'm already totally sick of it. My muscles are still sore from all that walking on the introduction day last monday. I feel like I'm 50 years older, because I can't even walk without saying "ouch that hurts". Sitting, standing and lying on my bed, every effin' muscle in my lower body is aching at the moment. It's ridiculous and remind you I have to carry a heavy laptop with me almost every day and heavy books all in my backpack. And when you have aching muscles...that isn't a pleasant thing to have to carry on your back, if you have to walk for like half an hour to get to school.

It's so weird being back in school again after having two months of vacation. The time I spend on things that are Kelka related, like going on the forum and comment on other people's blogs have decreased dramatically since school started again. I barely have the time to listen to new podcasts, cause I have like tons of homework already after only being in school for like 3 days. But I'm doing my best, I maybe not so quick to download all the new podcasts from everyone, but thank god there's a calendar now on the forum, where you can check and see if there are new podcasts available to download.

I saw Kelka posted a new podcast yesterday! Woohoo!! Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but I will listen to it today. Can't wait to hear it! But I'm sure it's effin' awesome and hilarious!
I can't stand that I haven't got that much time to spend in Kelkaland anymore. I sometimes go on the forum when I'm in school and just check if there's anything new or interesting posted. But I can't really spend that much time on the forum when I'm in school, cause people will start to wonder and ask..."hey what are you doing on a forum that's for L Word fans?". I actually want to avoid that question. Not that they will ask the question though. Cause I'm primarily in a class with guys...so they probably have no clue what "The L Word" is...let alone knowing what Kelka is and how they influenced my life in a certain way by starting the whole Kelka madness.

On the introduction day last monday, the professor who was giving some kind of seminar was suddenly talking about how media has influenced our generation. And suddenly he shows this PowerPoint slide with the word "Podcast" in the middle. And I had a like this big smile on my face when I saw that word. Cause I immediately had to think of Kelka and all the other podcasters out there. It's funny how certain words can trigger you and remind you of things you heard on podcasts or on the forum or things you've read on the blogs. Anyway I miss spending time on the blogs and everything Kelka related actually. I know in the back of my mind I have to concentrate on school again, but it's soooo hard after a summer where I've spend most of my time reading and commenting on blogs and listening to podcasts etcetera.

Ok that's it for today. I'll try to blog as much as I can, but bare with me that I'm very busy at the moment with school. So if you don't see me blogging for a few days, no worries...I'll be back once I find the time again to blog or when I have something "interesting" to blog about! So c-ya later!

Well today I had to go back to school again, after a summer vacation that lasted about two months. I had to wake up so frickin' early today...it was crazy. I wasn't really looking forward going back to school again. But I don't really have a choice do I?? Anyway today was actually the introduction day for all the freshman students. Since I'm a sophomore at college, I had to accompany seven freshman students today. I had a classmate helping me out with that. It was a mandatory thing for sophomores. Otherwise I definitely wouldn't have stayed that long in school today! But we had to explain everything to them and how everything works at our school etc. etc.!

First I had to listen for like two hours to this professor that was talking to like 250 students and who teaches at a university in Holland. When this all ended, we went to a park and ate our lunches and played some sports. And it was a pretty long walk from the school to the park. But after we did that, we had to do some kind of quest, that some people of our school organized. We had to walk for so long and so many miles...omg it was crazy and we also had to do assignments while we were doing this quest. It was so lame! And everything was pretty unorganized and our group of freshman students were asking us everytime what we were going to do next. But nobody told us what we had to do, so everything was pretty much a big mess. Typical for our school again! But this whole quest thing was so lame, it reminded me of primary school. And we walked for like 4 hours straight today. That doesn't seem like very long, but for me it was! Yeahhh I don't have the best condition at the moment, I really should do something about that!

After we had solved the quest and did all the assignments, we had to give the answers to a teacher and that teacher gave us a coupon for a free drink at a certain bar in the city. So everyone was drinking beer ofcourse and it was pretty fun at the bar. A lot of students of my school were there and it was pretty busy too. There was also a free buffet at 5 o'clock, but I was so tired of all the walking, I didn't want to wait another 1,5 hour before they would start the buffet. So I had my beer and talked to some of my classmates and went home afterwards.

So I was dead tired when I came back home. My feet were absolutely killing me! Cause I wasn't expecting to walk THAT much today. So I had my regular sneakers on and they're definitely NOT the best shoes for long walks. Ohhh well, I survived it! Well that was kinda my day. Quite boring actually! Tomorrow I have an early class, so I'm going to bed early today to catch up on some sleep. Since I hardly got any sleep last night :S. I definitely hope tomorrow won't suck as much as it did today!

You know, I love a good laugh once in a while! So last thursday I saw this clip on tv and I thought it was hilarious! So I looked it up on YouTube and decided to post it here. It's a german prank and one minute into the clip, that's when it really get's funny :D! The clip only takes about 1,5 minute , so it isn't very long. Woohoo...it's the weekend again! So what is everyone up to this weekend?? Anything fun planned?? I'm going clubbing tonight with my friends and I'm definitely looking forward to that!! Cause it's the last weekend before school starts again :(, yeah that pretty much sucks. Cause this monday I have to get up real early again and I am NOT good at waking up in the morning. But ofcourse I can sleep in again when it's the weekend! That's why I love the weekends and ofcourse the weekend is all about tha fun :D!

Ok, I'm a lil' late on this. Since the second episode already aired last monday. But one of my favourite shows to watch is Prison Break. I love that show! And I'm so glad season 2 started again. Especially after a summer watching...well practically nothing, cause the lack of good shows during the summer! Well only Sugar Rush and Work Out were fun to watch...everything else pretty much sucked! But last week season 2 of Prison Break started in America. And thank god I can download all the episodes, otherwise I would have to wait until they aired the new season in Holland. And that's gonna take a while, since they are still airing episodes of season 1 here! And I can definitely NOT wait that long! I have two reasons for watching this show. One reason is because I like what the show is all about, escaping out of prison and the whole government plot. Second reason is because of Wenthworth Miller who plays Michael Scofield in the show. Yeahhh...Wentworth Miller is definitely NOT hard to watch if you know what I mean ;)! So here's a nice black and white photo of Wentworth!


Ok second show which also started two weeks ago is the show "Weeds". Now I didn't really know this show until recently. But I've catched up on season 1 and the first two episodes of season 2 now and I definitely like this show that's on Showtime as well, just like The L Word. Especially because Mary-Louise Parker is in it as well...you gotta love her! Elizabeth Perkins is awesome as well as Celia Hodes. And ofcourse Renee Victor who plays Lupita...she rocks!!


Mary-Louise Parker is the lead character in the show. She lives in a town called Agrestic and after her husband dies, she begins dealing marijuana in order to support her household while maintaining an upper-middle-class lifestyle. It's a fun show to watch, so if you haven't watched this show before...go and watch it! You'll get addicted, just like the drug ;)! Ok just wanted to rant about two of my favourite shows at the moment! I'd like to know what you're favourite shows are...so leave me a comment and hit me up with some answers! So I watched this movie yesterday called "Honey". Yeah I know it's a lame name for a movie, but that's the name of the lead character. It's like a movie with a lot of dancing in it. Kinda like the movie "Save The Last Dance" with Julia Stiles. The lead character in the movie was played by Jessica Alba. The movie was kinda predictable, but it was alright. I must say...I was kinda distracted by Jessica Alba...cause she was lookin' gooood in the movie! But hey, can you blame me...cause I think she's hot! Now she's like famous in Hollywood, but I've been following her acting career since the beginning when she was in a show called "Dark Angel". She wasn't really famous back then. But that show got cancelled later due to lack of viewers. Since I don't have anything interesting to blog about today, I decided to post some pics of miss Alba today! So tonight I'm planning to watch the movie D.E.B.S. again. Haven't watched that movie in a while, so I think I'm going to watch it again. Cause the movie is pretty funny and ofcourse I'm watching the movie to see Jordana Brewster as well ;)! Yeahhh...you can never have enough Jordana Brewster, don't you agree?? Omg this song has been stuck in my head for the last three days and I think it's because I heard it on a tv commercial and the video has been played numerous times on MTV. Everytime I hear this song, I just wanna dance! And the song just stays in your head once you've listened to it, especially the chorus! Well...damn frustrating that's for sure! I've been busy reinstalling my desktop pc the whole day now, since I couldn't get rid of this nasty computer virus. But I've been trying to install Windows XP on my pc again, but my effin' computer doesn't want to cooperate with me! Ughhh sooo frustrating! Hmm maybe I should call one of my tech friends to help me out here. Normally people come to me for computer problems...but I guess everyone needs help sometimes! Ohh well...I'll figure it out...somehow!



Geez I have only one week left before hell starts again! Ohhh I meant to say "school" there hehehe! Yes one week until I have to concentrate again on homework and all that other boring stuff!! Ugh...just thinking about it makes me wanna turn around and walk away! Or just take a plane and fly away into the sunset...just like the picture below:

Just to let you guys know...I had an awesome birthday last tuesday! It was fabulous!! I had an amazing time with all of my friends! We laughed, drinked and partied hard! I did had a slight hangover the day after, but I had worse and it was gone pretty quickly. But hey, it's my birthday...you gotta do it right when you turn 21 ;)! I also received lots of presents...so I was really happy with that!

After the party we went out again to a bar in a city near the place where I live. We continued having a great time there and we did some birthday shots ofcourse :). I think those shots got me a drunk! I already had several beers in my system, so I think those shots were a bit too much for me to handle :S!

Anyways, this birthday party was one of the best parties ever!! Hope to do it again next year :)!!

Alrighty then...I'm officially 21 today :)!! I'm sooo excited!! Nothing but partying going on today...and lot's of drinking ofcourse hehehe ;)!! Yes tonight there's going to be lot's of alcohol involved! Cause today I'm having a big party at my house with all of my friends and after the party, I'm going out with my friends to party some more :D!!


Yesterday I bought all the stuff for my party, like beer and tons of other alcoholic beverages and food ofcourse! I'm really looking forward to tonight, it's going to be great!! I'm expecting a lot of presents ofcourse and I'm looking forward going out and having a good time with all of my friends. Especially because school is starting again in two weeks :(!! And once school starts again...it's done with tha fun! So I'm going all out today and I'll probably end up wasted at the end of the day hehehe :S....no I'm just kidding ;)! But we'll see how it goes! But it's definitely going to be fun, that's for sure!! So I can't wait 'til tonight...let tha partying begin!!!

Last night I didn't sleep very well...got like 4 hours of sleep at most. Geez, I must be having insomnia lately, cause my sleeping rhythm has been way off lately :S! And I overslept today, because of the lack of sleep. I had planned to get up early and do some stuff, before my two little nephews and my aunt and uncle would arrive at my house. But by the time I woke up, they were almost arriving already. My nephews are staying over at my house for two days. And that's enough for me...trust me! So I had to get up quickly and get dressed. And by the time I was finished, my eyes were still barely open, because of the lack of sleep! So you can imagine my energy level was like zerooo today! Yeahhh...not a really good time to have two little nephews coming over being hyper all the time :S! Thank god I have some rest now...cause they're in bed now. So I have some peace and quietness until tomorrow morning! But this evening I suddenly catched a cold or something. Cause I'm not feeling so well at the moment. I've been sneezing like non-stop and it's effin' annoying! So today I'm definitely going to bed earlier, in the hope I feel a bit better in the morning!

One of the reasons why I got so little sleep, was because I was listening to a lot of new music yesterday that I uploaded on my iPod. And by the time I was finished...it was like morning already! And my iPod almost crashed yesterday. Well it didn't crash, but I couldn't get it to shut off anymore! So all these disaster scenerio's were coming up in my head already! Cause I already lost all of my songs on my iPod once and that was like a big effin' disaster already to get everything back on it again. So I was afraid that it was going to happen again this time! Thank god there is the option of "resetting your iPod". And it worked! After I had resetted the iPod, I could shut off my iPod again :)! And all of my songs & playlists were still in my iPod...woohoo!!

Anyway...one of the songs that has been on repeat for a while in my iPod is the song "Supermassive Black Hole" of the band Muse. I love this song since the first time I heard it and this song is still one of my favorites! I love the video as well...so if you haven't checked it out yet...here's the vid:

Hmm what have I been up to these last few days. Well school is almost starting...about two weeks from now...which sucks big time, yeahhh not really looking forward to that!! But hey, no one is looking forward starting school again! I haven't really done much during this summer vacation. But I still wasn't really bored. Especially because this whole Kelka thing has been really addicting and consumes a lot of my time...which I don't mind ofcourse ;)! But it has been great! I know once school is starting again, I won't be able to blog or comment as much as I want on everyone's blog. But hopefully I won't get too much Kelka withdrawal, since I have to cut back on the amount of time I'm spending on everything Kelka related...like listening to podcasts and commenting on blogs! I'll still be around...but the main thing for me is to focus on school and passing the classes that I didn't pass last year.

Ok enough about school...since I don't want to think about it too much! The last 2/3 days I've been expanding my music collection. The reason why it's increased so much, with I dunno how many songs...but since I've been listening to podcasts...I heard so much music of musicians I hadn't heard of before...and now my music collection has increased a lot! And so many podcasters or bloggers have been putting music in their podcast or created a music mix which I loveeee!! It's like everyone is sharing the same interest in the same music!! And everyone likes a different genre...some play more rock and alternative and others play more R&B songs. But I don't care...I love all kinds of music, as long as it's gooood!! But I'm very open to music. I don't specifically like one genre. Yes my iTunes library has increased tremendously, thanks to the Kelkians!


Anyway...last thursday I went to see the movie "Superman Returns". Yes I know it's been out for ages in America, but we always have to wait longer for movies to come out in Europe. Since this movie got so many good reviews, I decided to go check it out with my friends. But I was kinda disappointed after I saw the movie. I didn't really think the movie was that good! If I have to compare this movie to the movie "Batman Begins"...I definitely think Batman Begins is way better! Cause at least there is like a decent story in the movie. And I missed a decent storyline in "Superman Returns". That's why I was kinda disappointed after I saw it. I still don't know why this movie got such good reviews, cause in my eyes it wasn't really that good.

Anyway tomorrow two of my little nephews are staying over at my house for two days. They're like 4 and 6 years old. And they are a hand full! Especially the youngest one. He always wants to go to the attic and get all the toys that are up there from when I was younger and he wants me to run up and down to get it :S! Or he wants me to come with him and pick out the toys. And the running up the stairs is not one time...noooo...this goes on like 10 times! And each time he wants to go back to the attic and get some more toys! But still...he's adorable...and I'm still excited that they are staying over at my house. Thank god my parents are here to keep them under control! Cause I don't think I would've survived two full days with my two little nephews all by myself :S! I love them dearly...but they can be really busy sometimes and running around the house like crazy!

Ok that's my post for today! I'm going to bed earlier today, since I hardly got any sleep yesterday :S! And otherwise I will be exhausted tomorrow! So c-ya later!!

Hmm well nothing really interesting happend these last couple of days. Last sunday I had brunch with my parents and my brother at this fancy pance hotel my brother works at. It's one of the best hotels in Holland. It's in Amsterdam and he was offered a brunch by the hotel, because his contract was renewed. So we went to have brunch there and the food was delicious ofcourse. Well at first we were welcomed with a glass of champagne (which is always good ;)), and it was like 12 o'clock in the afternoon and I was already sipping my glass of champagne...geez...I just had breakfast and like an hour later, I was already drinking champagne! Anywayzzz...I didn't mind that ofcourse ;)! So after we sat in the lounge and finished our glass of champagne, we were escorted to the dining hall. Ofcourse all the people who worked in this hotel knew my brother. So I got to know some of my brother's collegues. The brunch was just excellent! The food was great and during brunch, I even got hit on by these two guys who were also collegues of my brother and they were like, who is that girl sitting next to you?? They probably thought I was like his girlfriend, but after my brother said I was his lil' sister...they were like...damnnn...you're fine! Yeah they seemed interested, but I was like...okkk...thnx for the compliment hehe ;)! Later I saw the same two guys up on the balcony of the dining hall and they were totally acting crazy and giving hints to my brother and giving me the thumbs up and what not. Sooo I guess I'm approved by my brother's (male) collegues hahaha.

Anyway...yesterday my phone totally died on me! I already had it repaired once, and they couldn't repair it, so they just gave me a new one. But yesterday my screen totally went black and I couldn't get it working anymore. Sooo I went looking for a new mobile phone yesterday and I found one! I had to purchase it on the internet, cause it would save me like a 100 bucks. Cause the retail price of this phone is like 300 bucks. And that's a bit too crazy for me. But I got a good deal on the internet and now I only have to pay like 200 bucks. It's still pretty expensive, but I think it's worth the money. And I go for the looks as well. I don't want an ugly phone...no it must be at least a bit stylish! So I'm 200 bucks lighter now :S...thank god my birthday is coming a week from today :D!! Woohoo!! Yesss...I'm going to be 21 next week! Yes very surreal! Being 21 isn't really a big deal in Holland. Cause I know in America, if you're 21, you're legal to drink. But here in Holland, we are allowed to drink at age 16 :)! There's going to be a lil' party and I'll definitely be heading towards a bar with my friends to celebrate it. I hope I get a lot of cash for my birthday :D!! I've been kinda hinting my parents to get me a new tv as well, cause the one that I have right now...isn't really good anymore :S! Ohhh well...I'll just have to see what they're going to get me :)!

Tonight there's a new episode of "Work Out" as well...can't wait to download that episode tomorrow! That show is great...so check it out if you haven't already ;)!! C-Ya!!

I was looking for some video's on Youtube and I came across these video's of Margaret Cho and they are hilarious :D!! I was LMAO when I was watching it! I love Margaret Cho...she's frickin' hilarious!! Especially when she does certain facial expressions, omg too funny!! So I just got back from the movies...it's already midnight AGAIN! Geez...what is it with me and blogging around midnight! Anyway...I went to the movies with one of my best friends. She actually picked out the movie. We went and saw the Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. I know it's been out for ages in America, but it always takes longer for movies to come out in Holland than in America. Since all the movies are made in America! The movie wasn't my first choice...but the movie was alright. If you like fast cars and pretty girls...you're set with this movie ;)! It's kinda like seeing the show "Pimp My Ride" that's on MTV, only longer :). I've also seen the previous two Fast and the Furious movies and they were pretty good too. One of my friends loves "tuning" his cars and he loves these kind of movies! Yeahhh it can never be fast enough for him!

I actually thought the first two Fast and the Furious movies were better than this one. I think the whole theme of racing against eachother and one being the bad guy and one being the good guy has kinda worn out. But the cars looked amazing as always and the girl who played the love interest of the main character of this movie, didn't look to bad either! Yes I must confess...I was actually paying more attention to the girls in this movie than the guys :). And speaking of guys...I still think Paul Walker is way hotter than the guy who played the main character in this movie :). But that's just my personal opinion!

Anyway the girl who played the love interest of the main character was an Australian actress named Nathalie Kelley. She's 21 years old and she was born in Lima, Peru. But she moved to Australia when she was 2. And I must say...she was pretty hot in the movie!! Anyway here's a picture of her...I think she's hot...do you think she's hot??



Ok that's enough about me talking about fast cars and pretty girls :)...not that there's anything wrong with that! But it's really late and I really have to catch up on my sleep...since I hardly got any sleep the night before! So c-ya later!

Ok so pretty much everything that's on tv right now sucks...cause it's the summer and in the summer pretty much all the networks just show reruns of all kinds of television shows. So I'm quite bored and hardly watched any tv lately because of this! But the good news is...there are some good programs out there, that you should watch if you haven't watched it yet!


One of them is Sugar Rush. That show is awesome and it's so funny, I love that show! I always have to download the episodes of Sugar Rush, cause I don't have channel 4, I can only watch BBC 1 & 2 here in Holland. So that's why I have to download it. But lately I've been really busy...so I wasn't really caught up with the show. But lately there's like nothing to watch on television, that I decided to download some more episodes of Sugar Rush and yeahh...totally addicted to it now and I can't believe tomorrow, Channel 4 is going to air the season finale already!! Awww...I don't want it to end!!! I hope that there will be a 3rd season of Sugar Rush! But anyway...if you haven't seen it...go download it or something or just type in the words "Sugar Rush" on YouTube and you can watch it there as well!

Ok I hadn't heard of this 2nd show that I'm totally hooked on at the moment, until someone mentioned it on the Planet forum. The show is called "Work Out" and it airs on Bravo. And a lot of people seem to like the show, because there is like a lesbian subplot in it as well! Sooo I was really curious what this show was and what all the buzz was all about! So I downloaded the first episode and since then I'm totally hooked on it!! I just watched the fourth episode that aired yesterday and I just love this show. Normally I'm not really into the whole reality tv and stuff, but I dunno...this show is really entertaining to watch! And the people ain't hard to watch either ;)!


It's basically about Jackie Warner who is the owner of an exlusive gym called Sky Sport and Spa and you just see how she and the other trainers do their training sessions with their clients. And you also get to see a lot of Jackie's personal life. For example her relationship of four years with her girlfriend Mimi (who I can't stand actually...she irritates me!). Yeahh that girlfriend of Jackie is something alright...she tends to bite Jackie each time Jackie does something that she doens't like or agree with. And it's just weird!! She's sooo possessive and jealous about the slightest things. Yeahhh I don't like people who are like that. So yeahh, she kinda annoys me. So if you haven't watched this show before, go watch it! It airs on Bravo every tuesday. Or you can just download the episodes, just like I did :)...cause ofcourse...I don't have this channel. So I don't really have another option BUT to download it!

So basically these two shows are keeping me entertained in the summer until the tv networks air new episodes after the summer break of tv shows I watch! So go and check out these shows if you haven't watched it...you won't regret it ;)!

So last weekend was Amsterdam Gay Pride Weekend in Holland! Supposedly 250.000 people saw the annual Canal Parade on Saturday August 5th. Like I said in a previous post of mine, I wasn't able to go to Pride due to other planns I had already made with friends of mine. But I was able to find some pics of the Gay Pride Weekend in Amsterdam. So I found some clips of the Canal Parade on YouTube. So if you wanna get a small impression how the Canal Parade went this year...then watch the clips below ;)! So yesterday...ohhh I see it's already midnight now, so it's actually the day before yesterday, there were two new podcasts up!! One of them was The Planet Podcast from KC and Elka...omg I was sooo excited when I saw that they had a new podcast up, I just couldn't wait to download it! They posted the cast around 04.00 P.M. their time...so it was already 02.00 A.M. in Holland. I saw the new podcast around 03.30 A.M., yeahhh I was actually still awake in the middle of the night...cause I went clubbing yesterday and came home around 03.00 A.M. and it was soooo much fun!! Anyway...so I got back home...kinda buzzed from all the alcohol I was drinking while clubbing hehehe and I started up my laptop to check up on my mail. After that, I decided to go to the forum and see what was goin' on there...suddenly the newsfader caught my attention and it said: **new planet podcast is now up**
I just couldn't wait to download it...even though it was in the middle of the night!! Practically morning after I listened to the whole cast, cause it was almost 1,5 hour long...which I don't mind ofcourse...the more Kelka...the better :D!!! So I think I finally went to sleep around 05.00 A.M.!! Omg...this whole Kelka thing has been sooo addicting...I'm sleeping way too late lately, because I usually don't have the time to listen to the all the podcasts during the day, so I have to listen to them at night or when I'm in bed. And because of this...I'm sleeping way too late! Getting up somewhere in the middle of the afternoon...my god...my mom is like: "did you wake up just now...it's noon already!!". Yeahhh...kinda sleep deprived since I got addicted to everything Kelka related! But it's all good...cause it's worth it ;)!!

So I wake up around noon yesterday...and I saw on the forum that Slo and Green had a new podcast up as well...OMG...they posted the cast like two hours after KC and Elka posted theirs!! And ofcourse I was already in bed when they posted it! I was like...geeeez...why do I live in a different timezone every time these awesome podcasts keep comin' out! Anyway listened to that podcast this afternoon...and it was awesome as always!! And so was the Kelka podcast...had me cracking up in the middle of the night :D!! I actually had to tone it down a little...otherwise I would've woken up my parents! But I don't care...it's the Kelka...I can't help but laugh when they crack up themselves on their own podcast! Good stuff!!

Anyway...nothing much going on actually. As I said, went clubbing on friday at my favorite club...good times as usual! Got a lil' buzzed of the alcohol...but I like it...since I'm wayyy more fun when I'm kinda tipsy hehehe ;)! Hmmm what else did I do today or should I say yesterday now, since it's past midnight already...ohh yeahh I went to a barbeque which a close friend of my family organized. I'm totally stuffed at the moment...I think I ate enough for the whole friggin' week!! Hahaha no j/k :D!! But the amount of food that was consumed was crazy...they had so much food out there...and we were only like with 7 or 8 people. But it was all good! The weather finally cleared up as well in the afternoon, cause it was raining extremely hard in the morning. Thank god it was dry by the time the BBQ started! Hmm I think this is it...nothing really interesting really! I guess I just felt like blogging...so here it is! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!
